Product description

Heat lamps help limit heat loss and so support the welfare and health of (young) animals. The JK Heat Plus infrared heat lamp has been developed specifically for high heat output and maximum infrared radiation.

Targeted heat, without heating the whole barn

With a heat lamp you heat one spot in a targeted way, such as the lying area or the animal itself. This is efficient and means you do not need to heat the whole space unnecessarily. In group housing, a warm lying area can also reduce stress and support rest and social behaviour.

Special curvature & reflective coating

Thanks to the special shape and the reflective coating, the heat is distributed more evenly. This results in fewer temperature differences and the animal benefits from even heat distribution.

Features

• Near Infra Red (NIR): optimal infrared radiation that penetrates deeper into the skin for effective warming.

• Strong hard glass and lightweight.

• Specially shaped lamp with extra curvature angle for better heat distribution.

• Super reflective coating for maximum heat output.

• Service life: approx. 5,000 burning hours.

• Moisture resistant.

• Specially designed filament with extra support:

  • 7 support wires with closed “eyes” for maximum stability.

• Strong E27 socket that sits firmly in place.

Important tip

Keep a minimum distance of 60 cm between the lamp and the animal.

Available in 100W, 150W and 250W.
