What is SecureCattle?

SecureCattle is based on pheromones, a substance produced by the body that cows use to communicate with each other. The Bovine Appeasing Pheromone is a calming pheromone that is secreted naturally by the sebaceous glands on the skin of the mammary glands and is activated when a calf suckles from the cow. The calf takes in this pheromone through the nose (the vomeronasal or Jacobson’s organ), which keeps the calf calm. This pheromone has been exactly replicated and placed in a pour-on that farmers can use when their cattle need extra support in stressful situations.

No withdrawal period for meat and milk, no side effects.

Dosage

Spray 5 ml (1 pump stroke) of SecureCattle between the horns or between the shoulder blades of the cow about 4-6 hours before the stressful moment. For a group treatment, it is recommended to administer SecureCattle one day before the stressful situation. Maximum duration of action is 15 days after administration.
