FF Fix Blue 2-component PU claw glue

Fix Blue is a professional 2-component PU glue for fixing claw blocks to cattle claws quickly and reliably. It bonds strongly, gives you a practical working time and has a high viscosity, which makes it suitable for both professional hoof trimmers and farmers who fit claw blocks themselves.

The working time is about 10-20 seconds, and after at least 4 minutes the block can take full weight. The glue is thicker than many traditional claw glues, so it runs off less and fills gaps between claw and block well.

You do not need a heat gun. For good adhesion, claw and block must be clean and dry. Too much heat speeds up the reaction and weakens the bond.

Store and use Fix Blue at 0 to 23 °C. Outside that range we advise a climate box. The glue may be used without a certificate and carries no H351 hazard statement.

How to use Fix Blue

1. Storage and use
   Store and use Fix Blue at 0 to 23 °C.
2. Prepare the claw
   Clean the claw and dry it well.
   Do not use a heat gun.
3. Insert the cartridge
   Put the cartridge into a suitable dispensing gun.
4. Open the cartridge
   Unscrew the locking ring and remove the cap.
5. Level the components
   Press out a little glue until it comes from both compartments. Discard this unmixed glue.
6. Fit the mixing tip
   Fit the original Quadro mixing tip MFQ8.7-24 (15.5 cm), put the locking ring back and tighten it.
7. Apply the glue
   Spread the glue evenly on the block or on the claw.
   Note: do not apply the glue in several layers.
8. Place the block and press firmly
   Put the block on the claw straight away and press it on firmly, so the glue fills the unevenness of the claw and the grooves in the block. Keep a glue layer of about 3 mm between claw and block.
   Applying the glue and positioning the block must take no more than 10-20 seconds.
9. Let it cure
   Do not touch the block after placing it. After 4 minutes the glue has fully cured and can bear weight.
